Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
❓ Who is eligible to apply for the program?
This program is open to:
Families living in Metro Detroit or Macomb County
Low-income households or families currently experiencing financial or housing hardship
Households with children (ages 0–18)
Proof of income or hardship may be requested to verify eligibility.
❓ What type of assistance is provided?
Eligible families will receive:
Gift donations based on a holiday wishlist for each child (up to 3 items per child)
Holiday support such as warm clothing, toys, or basic household needs
A personal holiday sponsor or organization who “adopts” your family for Christmas
❓ How do I apply?
You can apply by:
Completing our online o
Submitting all required documentation

❓ What documents do I need to provide?
Please include at least one of the following:
Proof of government assistance (SNAP, TANF, SSI, WIC, etc.)
Pay stub or unemployment statement
School enrollment documentation (for children)
Photo ID (State ID, Driver's License)
❓ What is the application deadline?
🗓️ Deadline to apply is November 21, 2025.
Late applications may not be accepted due to high demand.
❓ How will I know if I’ve been selected?
Families will receive a confirmation email or phone call no later than December 5, 2025, with next steps for pickup or delivery of holiday items.
❓ How many families will be selected?
Our goal is to bless up to 20 families this year. We will prioritize based on hardship, number of children, and application completion.

❓ Will my information be kept private?
Absolutely. All personal and financial information submitted is confidential and used only for internal screening and coordination purposes.
